These have been independently tested against war gases and NIOSH approved for a range of industrial gases and HEPA particulate protection. Children under the age of 8 cannot wear traditional gas masks because they do not have the lung capacity to pull air thru filters. Neoterik has designed a unique product line for children. Battery powered blowers pull contaminated air through special filters and provide the child with clean air. The small but powerful blower provides the chld with 3 cubic feet of filtered air per minute. Factory fitted with lithium batteries for a long shelf life. Both the child and the infant units can operate up to 10 hours before changing batteries.
